Cryptography
It is very easy to encrypt or to decrypt text using Squirrel.
To encrypt a text, we need to enter text into "Open Text"
page.
I have copied and pasted a poem: "Twelve days of Christmas"
In the next step, we need to click on the "Encryption" page,
choose encryption method and press "Encrypt" button.
Text will be encrypted using the password selected on the
"Password" page.Results can be seen below:
To decrypt a message we need to reverse the process. We need
to either paste it into "Encryption" page, or we need to open
an image which contains encrypted message.
Once we have encrypted message in the "Encryption" page, we
need to go to "Password" page and select the right password.
Once that is done, we go back to the "Encryption" page, select
encryption algorithm and press "Decrypt" button.
If we have selected right password, we should be able to see
plain text in the "Open text" window.
Please notice that different passwords can be used to encrypt
and to insert encrypted message into image using RandomX
algorithm in the full version of Squirrel.
